'Puraskara' students pass with flying colors

Bridging Gaps .... Nurturing aspirations

What a sea change for the 28 children! Years spent picking cotton in the fields, doing odds and ends work for a few rupees - and today they have attained what once seemed like a dream. These children have passed the Class X exams in Karnataka.  Of these 28 students, 11 students have passed securing First Class and the highest scorer among them had 80% marks.

This achievement speaks volumes to the determination and hard work of these students, who are first generation learners.  They are supported by 'Puraskara' , the scholarship program of India Literacy Project that pays for their high school education, uniform and books.

Congratulations to all the students !!
