Running for a cause
Team ILP infuses the fun of accomplishment as a group into a solitary pursuit such as running and draws upon the collective will of the group to bring about lasting social change in India.
Launched in 2004, Team-ILP fields teams at running events to promote the cause of literacy in India. Runners from this group enter races and relays in the bay area and raise pledges for projects supported by India Literacy Project(ILP), a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization.
2008 will be our fifth year of participation in The Relay.
