Ganeswar Club, our NGO partner from Odisha, runs Adolescent Clubs—safe, empowering spaces where girls come together to learn, grow, and thrive. These clubs meet six times a year, each session designed around thoughtfully curated topics to inform, inspire, and uplift. At present, 15 clubs are actively engaging 375 adolescent girls from various communities.
The clubs focus on:
- Building self-esteem and self-awareness
- Developing key life skills like communication and empathy
- Promoting healthy habits—physical, mental, and emotional
- Supporting informed decision-making
- Cultivating a sense of belonging and social responsibility
- Reducing child marriage and school dropouts
These clubs offer consistent, trusted spaces where girls can express themselves, connect with peers, and learn skills that support their development.
