𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝘀. 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 are excited to kick off a pilot project focused on 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in the Athoor and Palani blocks of Dindigul District in 2024. This initiative aims to support 20 Anganwadi children.

To get things started, a 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 at Gandhigram Trust in Dindigul from May 27-29, 2024.

The event was launched by Ms. C. Poongodi, DPO of ICDS Dindigul.

Twenty Anganwadi workers, three supervisors from Athoor and Palani blocks, five Gandhigram Anganwadi workers, and seven ILP facilitators participated in the training, which was led by Mr. Arun Serrao and Mr. Mallikarjun from CDF.

𝗔 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.

The Anganwadi workers learned valuable skills, such as how to prepare 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗧𝗟𝗠) and conduct group activities. These new skills will help the children develop their physical, motor, and cognitive abilities.
