Three simple actions became powerful lessons in protecting the planet as our NGO partner RDS marked 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯 at PM SHRI ZPHS, Manganoor, Telangana.

What made the day special was that the students themselves led the way.

𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 organised the programme, encouraged their classmates to take a Plastic-Free Pledge, handed out reusable cloth bags, and planted saplings within the school premises showing that caring for the environment begins with everyday choices.

The conversation continued through art as students captured their thoughts on plastic pollution and environmental conservation via drawing competition. Their colourful entries reflected not just creativity, but a growing awareness of the role each of us can play in protecting nature.

The day wasn’t just about saying no to plastic.

It was about helping children discover that lasting change doesn’t always begin with big ideas.

It often begins with small, thoughtful actions repeated every day.
