The ILP team attended the 3rd Edition of South India’s Largest CSR Summit, themed “From Change to Legacy.” Bringing together leaders from government, corporates, NGOs, and the development ecosystem, the summit explored how CSR is moving beyond compliance to creating long-term, systemic change.

One of the standout sessions demonstrated how digital innovation can transform education. To bridge post-pandemic learning gaps, textbook content was converted into interactive 2D and 3D animations accessible through QR codes. Combined with digital classrooms, teacher training, peer learning, and community volunteers, the initiative raised Grade 10 pass rates from 55% to 76% within a year showing that technology, when thoughtfully implemented, along with community participation can significantly improve learning outcomes.

Another powerful discussion on ESG and government collaboration reinforced that sustainability begins with individual action. From conserving water to reducing waste, meaningful environmental change starts with everyday choices and collective responsibility, not just policies and regulations.

The CSR and Entrepreneurship panel reflected on the evolution of CSR from philanthropy and compliance to strategic partnerships that drive sustainable, measurable impact. This was complemented by a thought-provoking session on measuring what truly matters, encouraging organizations to look beyond outputs and assess outcomes such as dignity, trust, resilience, and long-term community transformation.

The overarching message from the summit was clear: lasting social change cannot be achieved in silos. Whether addressing education, climate action, hunger, or livelihoods, meaningful impact is created when governments, corporates, NGOs, and communities come together with a shared vision, shared responsibility, and a commitment to building solutions that endure long after funding ends.
