No – Tell them no
Go – Go away from them… Fast
Yell – Shout as loudly as you can
Tell – Tell someone you trust

India Literacy Project in collaboration with its partners conducts sessions on “good touch & bad touch” across various government schools to make the students understand how to differentiate between good touch and bad touch.

These sessions are conducted to make the students aware of what constitutes a good touch such as hi-five, gentle pat on the shoulder to appreciate.

Bad touch implies any touch that makes a kid feel uncomfortable, afraid and nervous such as hitting or touching private parts of a body.

Most importantly, the students are taught to immediately talk about it to a teacher or an elder they trust and feel comfortable without any fear.

Protection of children from sexual offences act, 2012 (POSCO) is aimed to protect children from offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography and provide for establishment of special courts for trial of such offences and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
